Behavior Technicians (BTs) work directly with children with Developmental Disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder among others tailoring programs designed to increase their communication, social, play, and self-help skills as well as to assist in reducing behaviors of concern. BTs work under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst (BA) who guide and train them in the specifics for each case and in general in the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis procedures and strategies. BTs collect data on daily programs and report to the BA.
