ASSIGNMENT: The purpose of the Support Center classroom is to provide specially designed instruc on emphasizing pre-academics, communica on, social, motor, and daily living skills for students with low moderate to severe/profound developmental delays who require more intensive focus on basic skills than is available within the Support Center program. Paraeducators assist the teacher(s) in various special educa on programs. The paraeducator’s du es include small group instruc on, one-on-one instruc on, preparing materials for a lesson, correc ng papers, teaming, collabora on between regular and special educa on staff and assis ng students with individual learning and health needs.
