AAMH is currently seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join the team to support our children and clinicians with the potential for growth into an executive administrative position. The candidate for the position will have demonstrated experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, Skills Based Assessments (i.e., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS), Treatment Planning, and Clinical Supervision. Most importantly, the candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and a strong desire to help families and children pursue their goals. Allied Associates in Mental Health has 30+ years of industry leading experience in the Philadelphia area. This small and caring agency is currently servicing children, ages 3 through 21, using evidenced-based practices in our work, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis principles, in homes, schools, and in the community.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
· Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments with children with autism and other various or concomitant diagnoses and participating in clinical teams collaboratively with other professionals
· Administer skills-based assessments to determine deficits in verbal, play, and social behavior and functional skill development and in designing, implementing, and/or training others using individualized language, play and skill-based curricula
· Conduct a range of behavioral assessments (i.e., Functional Behavior Assessments, VB-MAPP, ABLLS, curriculum-based assessments)
· Visit the homes, schools, and community settings to consult with other clinical team members and model interventions for parents and caregivers
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Masters of/in Psychology, Behavior Analysis or Education or another relevant program that was accredited by the BACB
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA Certification)
- Licensed Behavior Specialist in Pennsylvania (LBS)
- Clinical coursework in the foundations of behavior analysis, Advanced coursework in applied behavior analysis and data collection and/or working with children with disabilities, coursework and/or experience with experimental analysis of behavior
- Ability to accept feedback and incorporate into professional growth and own performance improvement
- Experienced providing services in the IBHS system in Pennsylvania
- Bilingual is a plus
