Responsibilities:Clinical Mentorship & Supervision
● Provide direct, intensive, and comprehensive supervision and mentorship to ABA Graduate Students, ensuring adherence to the BACB's Fifth Edition Task List and ethical guidelines.
● Conduct regular supervision meetings, offering constructive feedback, guiding case conceptualization, and facilitating skill development in assessment, intervention, and data analysis.
● Support and guide Graduate Students in developing, implementing, and modifying individualized behavior intervention plans based on data analysis and client progress.
● Train and supervise Graduate Students in conducting effective parent training sessions, focusing on the generalization and maintenance of skills in natural environments.
● Conduct regular fidelity checks and provide constructive feedback to Graduate Students on their clinical practice, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices.
● Collaborate with Graduate Students to develop individualized supervision goals and track their progress toward BCBA certification.
Direct Clinical Services:
· Maintain a weekly caseload of 27 billable hours dedicated to program modification and parent training, serving as a model for supervisees.
· ● Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention programs, focusing on refinement and optimization for existing clients.
· ● Provide comprehensive parent training and coaching to equip families with the skills and strategies to support their child's progress in natural environments.
· ● Conduct ongoing data analysis and make data-driven decisions to adjust and optimize treatment plans.
· ● Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and other service providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive client care.
· ● Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company policies and ethical guidelines.
Training & Development:
● Deliver comprehensive training to all new Behavior Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), ABA Graduate Student, and BCBA hires utilizing company-issued training plans, curricula, and materials.
● Ensure all new hires meet the required competencies and receive adequate hands-on supervision during their initial training period.
● Track and document training progress and outcomes for all new clinical staff.
Training Fidelity & Quality Assurance:
● Collaborate with BCBA Trainers and leadership at other clinic locations to ensure standardized application and fidelity of company training plans across the organization.
● Regularly review training efficacy and outcomes, collecting feedback from trainees and supervisors. ● Identify areas for improvement within existing training plans and propose necessary updates or modifications to clinical leadership to enhance effectiveness and alignment with best practices.
Staff Development & Professional Learning
● Plan and organize training topics for clinic Graduate Student meetings, aligning with ongoing professional development needs and company initiatives.
● Coordinate with internal and external experts (e.g., senior BCBAs) who may present specific training modules during staff meetings.
● Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of ABA best practices, research, and ethical guidelines to inform training content.
Documentation & Compliance:
● Ensure all training activities comply with professional ethical guidelines (e.g., BACB standards) and company policies.
● Maintain organized records of training schedules, attendance, and completed competencies.
Certification:
● Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
● Completion of the 8-hour BACB supervision training is required upon hire if not already completed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
● Solid understanding of current research literature related to best practices in ABA.
● Extensive knowledge of principles and practices surrounding behavioral change and modification.
● Proficient in recognizing when to refer clients to other organizations.
● Strong expertise in report writing and preparation, as well as adeptness in using general office equipment.
● Exceptional creativity and analytical skills for tackling problems across various situations, roles, and environments.
● Ability to consistently follow Behavior Matters' protocols, policies, and procedures.
● Capable of interpreting and applying relevant federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.
● Proven ability to manage conflicts and resolve issues effectively.
Experience:
● A minimum of 1.5 years as a practicing BCBA, with a strong foundation in direct clinical service delivery (3-5 years preferred).
● Demonstrated experience in training, supervising, or mentoring ABA professionals (BTs, RBTs, or BCBAs).
● Experience in curriculum development or instructional design is a bonus.
Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in human services or related field/BCBA, Bachelor’s degree for the BCaBA.
2. BACB certification at the appropriate level
3. Experience in using ABA with individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors.
4. Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
5. Must have current on required shots (Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, and absence of TB).
6. Must be able to provide documentation of physical capability to perform services (LIC 503).

A Day in the Life of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
In the capacity as a BCBA within our team, you will manage a caseload of 8 to 10 clients, all welcomed in our inviting clinic environment. This arrangement eliminates the stress of long drives and home-based scheduling; clients come to us, allowing you to work closely with your Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) daily. You will lead treatment planning, provide direct supervision, guide skill acquisition, and adjust programming based on ongoing data collection. We equip you with the necessary tools, structure, and support to excel in your role.
Schedule & Setting:
● Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
● No weekends or late evenings
● Clinic-Based, Hybrid, or Remote Options:Depending on your location and caseload, roles may include fully clinic-based work, hybrid supervision (combining in-person and telehealth), or remote responsibilities such as parent training, report writing, and team meetings. We will collaborate with you to develop a schedule that promotes clinical excellence while ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
