Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate ABA Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health team in providing exceptional care for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education, and patient assessment, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based interventions. This leadership role involves overseeing clinical operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. The ABA Clinical Director will play a pivotal role in developing treatment plans, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and maintaining accurate medical documentation to support patient progress and organizational standards.
Duties
- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of individualized ABA treatment plans for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Supervise and mentor behavior analysts, therapists, and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments, to inform treatment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all medical records and documentation.
- Oversee data collection processes to monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including behavioral health professionals, special educators, and medical providers.
- Provide training on behavioral therapy techniques, medical terminology, and documentation standards to staff members.
- Manage clinical operations efficiently while maintaining a focus on patient care quality and safety standards.
- Stay current with advancements in applied behavior analysis, behavioral health practices, and relevant legal requirements.
Skills
- Extensive experience in behavioral therapy, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Proven ability to work effectively with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong background in special education, patient assessment, diagnosis, and medical documentation.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience managing confidential medical records.
