About Youth Opportunity & Deep Creek Youth Academy
Deep Creek Youth Academy accommodates 117 males aged 12–19 across multiple overlay programs—including IMH, CMH, SAOS, MHOS, BDD/DD, and medically complex care. Delivered within a trauma‑informed, 24/7 residential setting, youth receive individualized clinical services such as Skill Streaming, Living in Balance, MRT, and Impact of Crime, alongside therapeutic recreation, life skills training, and restorative justice. Onsite nursing, psychiatric care, licensed dietitian meals, incentive systems, and Youth Advisory Board input foster engagement. Length of stay is tied to treatment progress, criminogenic risk reduction, and readiness to reintegrate
About the Role
As a BCBA, you will design and oversee behavior intervention programs that promote emotional and behavioral stability among youth. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develop evidence-based strategies, and train staff to deliver consistent behavioral support aligned with individual treatment goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and design individualized BIPs.
- Collect, analyze, and report behavioral data to monitor progress and outcomes.
- Train and mentor staff in behavioral principles and intervention strategies.
- Participate in treatment team meetings to align behavioral goals with clinical and educational objectives.
- Ensure all documentation meets clinical and regulatory standards.
- Serve as a behavioral resource for staff, youth, and families.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
- Current BCBA certification in good standing required.
- Two or more years of experience working with adolescents in residential or clinical settings preferred.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands
• Must be in good physical health and emotionally stable
• Able to actively engage with youth, participate in physical interventions, and transport youth or staff as needed
• Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by the state
• Must pass evaluation of physical techniques and certification exams.
